GRMC has experienced an increased volume of patients in the Acute Care Unit that are under Isolation Precautions (COVID and other infections). To protect the patients, and for the safety of the visitors we have implemented a NO VISITOR policy for the Acute Care Unit.
Many hospitals have this same policy in place.
The visitation policy will remain in effect until the volumes of Isolation Patients decrease. It is unknown at this time when that could be.

The Emergency Department entrance remains open 24/7, 7 days per week.
